My wife and I are pilots and spent many years working in aviation prior to opening Doors Are Us. I have been in the aviation field since 1974 and owned and operated my own aircraft maintenace shop until 1992. I hold an Aviation Inspector’s license from the FAA giving me the authority to do Annual Inspections, Major Repairs and Alterations to aircraft. I am also a Certified Airframe and Power Plant mechanic. I also ran a Cessna Dealership , Piper Dealership, Jets at John Wayne Airport, and was a Helicopter Crew Chief for General George Patton Jr.
